Chloe Sonnet Brown is a dancer, performance artist, and producer living in New York City. Chloe’s work focuses on expressing psychologically complex stories through conceptual dance performances. Chloe believes that movement is an innate form of human expression generated by deep emotion, and thus searches for the stories and feelings that can be expressed through dance even better than through words. Chloe's current interest is in implementing queer theory and psychological investigation into the stories she tells and the steps she creates. Chloe’s movement aesthetic is informed by her training in ballet, contemporary dance, and improvisation.

Chloe’s work “Terra: We have not yet touched the stars” for Norte Maar’s Counterpointe was performed at the Mark O'Donnell Theatre and featured by the Brooklyn Downtown Star, Pointe Magazine, and Dance Informa. Most recently, Chloe’s performance piece “Vessels” was performed at Greenspace and A Space Gallery. Chloe is the producer behind the company Body Artifacts, a performance incubator with a focus producing on inclusive, experiential, and cathartic dance performances.
